Since Tasmania is a state of Australia, it's redundant to say "Australia and Tasmania." You wouldn't say "...inhabiting deep waters off the American and Californian coast" would you?

The link about the Oklahoma Tax Commission just cracked me up! I'm and Okie, born and bred, but had to leave the state. Mainly for health reasons since my husband and I couldn't take the heat and poison ivy any longer. We had been living in Washington state for two years and Oklahoma was still trying to tax us on income! We didn't even have any kind of address there anymore, but that didn't matter to them. They have one of the most onerous tax systems in the 50 states and people too stupid to get their government to change it. Much as I would like to move back to be with my family--I remember that and decide to stay here so far.
