Hello,

My name is Jessica. I'm getting ahold of anyone in the area with a car club that is interested in showing off their ride for a good cause.



One of my closest friends and her husband were in a car wreck last Saturday. She was 38 weeks pregnant with their first child. They had tried unsuccessfully after two years and rounds of fertility meds to get pregnant before it finally happened. Their car collided with a cement truck - they lost their unborn son and my friend is now in ICU in Salem, Oregon. She has since had numerous surgeries including a hysterectomy as her uterus couldn't be saved so they won't be able to have children. They now face medical bills even after insurance (the accident is termed a no fault) plus staying on top of regular bills so they won't lose their house, not including the emotional loss they have to endure for a while now. My point? He is a huge car buff (mostly classic muscle cars) and a home mechanic. Most of his friends, including my husband, are all car guys and into all types of cars and bikes (street/cruiser/sport). We are showing our support at this car show in the Wal-Mart parking lot Sept. 8th in McMinnville, Oregon. It's $5 to show your car and all proceeds go to help this couple. There will be vendors, prizes, music, etc. I am extending an invitation to you, your club, and anyone who you think might be interested.
