Like your site and your poll. While I'm not a Goth in dress, I am probably one at heart. But I am definitely a Christian and truly have a heart for those the "church" looks down upon for whatever reason. Like Christ I try to be Him for all others. Later tonight I will be visiting with some Goth friends whom God wants more than usual for His kingdom. If you get a chance please pray for this beautiful, young couple and that I can be used by the Holy Spirit to minister to them both.
God bless you and keep up the good work. Also check out Deliverance Bible Church, cool Goth/Punk/Outcast churches in Texas!
With Love,

I've been to this site a couple of times now and every time i see something new.
I have heard other Christian Goths talk about this site and they seem to recognize a lot of their own experiences in yours.
I will keep praying for you and hope that one day you will have fully overcome this experience.
Remember that we need people like you in the Christian dark underground scene, people that know what it's like to be shunned by their "fellow Christians", whom are persecuted for the way they look and whom have been pestered out of their community. In short, we need people who have been there but that can aslo show God's love as it really is. Unconditional, unlike human love.
There is much to do.

I was at the concert of Ex Nihilo back in March of 2003. It was wonderful, I actually talked a friend of mine into going. I think that was the first time she had been into a church. We walked in and to see so many kids have such faith in you and to know that they were going to be great was refreshing. We set down in the back hoping not to be seen I guess. You saw us. You saw everyone no matter where they were setting and you touched their hearts. We discussed the concert for a while that night. It was wonderful. As far as the church that did that to you, I can't sit here and place judgement on them or that would put me on their level. One thing I was always taught is that God looks at our hearts not our material posessions. I hope that oneday I will get to see another concert as great and touching as that one was. Good luck and may God bless you! I hope you find the answers that you seek.

Dear Boris,
Just wanted to let you know that I read through the site and I know how you feel. I am not a goth myself, but I sometimes dabble in gothic fasion, outlooks, and writing, of course not around my parents. They would completely flip if they saw some of my writings(which all seem dark until you look deeper at the overall message of them) or all black and makeup. I also know how my Pentecostal church would react if I walked in on a Sunday morning dressed in gothic attire: They would probably try to exorcise me...lol.
Recently God has called me to minister His Word. This makes me really nervous because my views differ on a lot of things from the views of my church, for example music and clothing. Just pray that maybe God can use me to open some eyes. I embrace the Christian goth community as brothers and sisters in Christ, whereas most people I know think they are evil because of people like Marilyn Manson and the two shooters in the Columbine incident.
It's hard to believe that this April is five years since the Columbine incident. I was 15 when it happened in eight grade. Now I'm 19 and a freshman in college. All Christians need to think about what happened and remember those who were killed for their Faith. It should be an example of how we are to live.
Remember Cassie: 4/20/99
ps-I will be praying for you.
