Lucas is my Step-father's name.We had moved from Smithfield, later moving back there. Little did I know that my blood line in Robeson County extended back into the 1700's. My grandmother was Maggie Bass Buffkin. Her father was Robert Smith and her mother was Julia Parker. I fell head over heels for a Debbie Bass, sister of Butch Bass. She was probably my cousin and I didn't know it. Small World.
