This was 30 years ago. I am posting his comment for you all so that you will know how good you really are:) Roxbury and Immaculata and many other private schools recruit kids for their bands like colleges do athletes. So for a public school like Munford to compete on such a high level as those “professional” schools is tremendous. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

I graduated from the Overton High Marching Band -- and the school, too, come to think of it -- with Barry, back in the dark ages, and I'm very impressed (but not surprised) with his success and the program that he's built.
