June is my Davis reunion in IA so 1 more time was searching web hoping for magical piece of info to connect GGG GF Justus Davis to parents,children,birth place etc. Justus was b.abt 1783 Mass, wife Elizabeth/Debora. Earliest find 1810/Richmond NY. Justus (correct sp) also found as(Justice/Justin) lived mostly in Ontario Co until 1840's. 1850 census he lived w/son Emery(my GG GF & GG GM) Mary Ann(Daniels)Davis, Lorain Co, OH as widowed. 1860 census Pierpont, Ashtabula,OH no Justus listed just GG Grandparents & their children. GG Grandparents & children then moved to homestead land in Freeborn Co, MN abt 1863 where they stayed. According to census reports for NY Justus had other children-names unknown. Trying to connect Bethuel & Augustus Davis to him. 1840's Bethuel moved to Macomb Co.MI. 1850's Augustus moved to Aleghany Co.NY both had lived in Ontario Co prior. Any help greatly appeciated. We keep you all in our prayers. Howie came home from a meeting last night with a packet of papers concerning the Davis family. Among them a hand-written deed date 1843 from Daniel Davis to Alden Davis, David Davis and Noah C. Davis for a 1/4 interest in a saw and shingle mill in the northwest part of Stafford. Thought you'd be interested. Incidentally, we're still in Stafford waiting for a buyer---at the worst possible time for the market! Bernie
