Comments: I was born on August 23, 1965 in Washington DC, and named Daniel Patrick Crownover by my birth Mother. She was 19 at the time, and her pregnancy was not known by her family. I was put up for adoption 2 weeks after I was born through the Childrens Home Society, in Richmond, Va. I have been searching for my Birth Mother for many years. The state of Virginia will not release adoption records even if I were to need a bone marrow transplant. A big part of my search has been the need to connect with my family of origin. Another part is now that I am 40 it would be nice to know what health issues may run in the family and what I may have to watch out for. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
