I have a couple of lighter folding kayaks that I've never needed a cart for, but I recently bought a big SOT to fish from, so it's probably going to be necessary. Also cool stuff on the spearfishing/freediving. I just moved here to MN from WA and might try that in Lake Superior if I don't freeze to death - LOL! Thanks again.

My wife and I have just purchased our first kayak, Perception AcadiaII 14 Tandem. We were canoe people. Some friends we knew from canoeing days had switched to kayaks and wished they had years ago. Since I'm 58 and my wife is three years younger, I promised I wouldn' state her age, this cart is the right price and will be fun to build. Thanks for posting the plans. Kent
