Comments: Good advice. I liked the Deuteronomy 26:12 quote about using tithe funds to assist widows and orphans

Comments: Interesting site. Too flimsy though. You claim the Bible and God back you up on your position, without real proof to that effect. Looks like you're fighting hard to justify your own position, rather than showing God's view. Meaning, it's kind of hypocritical to use the Bible to back yourself up in any way, as that is misleading.

You might want to provide proof of your position (biblical or otherwise), as the way it is now, it's really just a mess of emotion, assumption, and lack of logic. That's really no way to prove anything. It's only a way to get people of your own opinion to get behind you.

But first, I think you need to work out what ever issues you personally have with this subject. Like I said, it seems your fighting to defend a position that, for some reason, deep down you know is wrong, rather than spread truth. One should deal with their own issues with themselves before teaching anyone else, as "teachers will be judged more strictly".

Comments: Not only a beautifully laid out web site but your arguments, citations and resources that decry polygamy as a definite step toward "christian paganism" and the bolstering of this bestial trend these days. There is nothing Christian about polygamy and it would do very little to solve the tenacious longing many men have for something "better" outside their marriage. It will not put an end to adultery but on the contrary will justify much abuse of power and total lack of regard for human rights both for women and for children- and even some men. It will also add to the general misery in which too many women and children find themselves. I have studied this subject closely for the last 30 years and I am now happily married to my one and only, loving husband. Monogamy was made in heaven and I'm determined that Jesus is correct, "the two will be as one." Please keep up the good work!!! I pray this message gets out to those who really need to hear it.

Comments: i would rather be 2nd wife then be in a very abusive relationship. Are you so selfish that you cant share what God gave you ?and also so controlling? Do you think God gives you brownie points? Maybe you should think about how rejecting you are being .adn we all know we hate to be rejected
