You should have joined us! We all had a great time! We would have loved to have seen you! Hopefully next year!) THANKSGIVING FRIDAY GET-TOGETHER A BIG HIT !!!!! The Arthur L. Johnson Regional High School Class of 1978 held it's first Thanksgiving Friday Get-Together on Friday, November 28, 2003. It was held at the Valley Mill Bar and Grill, located inside Clark's Crowne Plaza Hotel, from 8 pm till close (2 am). Nearly 20 classmates turned out for this event - not bad for the first year. It was a diverse group who really enjoyed seeing each other. Everyone talked about how much of a blast they had at the 25th Year Reunion (which was held October 17,18 and 19), ALJ and Clark days, how their Thanksgiving was, and what was new in their lives. A few classmates were there who were unable to attend the Class Reunion, but wished they could have been. Nevertheless, they said that they would definitely be at the 30th Year Reunion in 2008. The success of this event truly personifies the character and spirit of the classmates that comprised the ALJ Class of 1978. Furthermore, it was a relaxing alternative for those wanting to get away from the madness and mayhem of a crowded shopping mall on Black Friday. Because this event was such a success, the class plans to have this get-together again next year, and every year thereafter, for as long as everyone is alive and well. All everyone needs to remember is that the ALJ Class of 1978 will always get together on the Friday evening after Thanksgiving, every year, at the Bar at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Clark, NJ. In fact, everyone who came to the Thanksgiving Friday Get-Together said they would definitely come back again next year, and bring their friends.
