If anyone has recently installed solar power I would be most interested to hear from you.
Thanks

Comments: I am researching my Family History. My Great Aunt Maggie MacAlister Craik was married to John Beverley Craik and living at Bay House, Pevensey Bay, Sussex. John Beverley Craik was Second Lieutenant in the 2nd (London) Bde., Royal Field Artillery who died on 3rd June 1917 WW1. I am interested to find out their lives in Pevensey Bay and what ever happened to my Great Aunt.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help and guide me. I am also interesting in visiting Pevensey Bay.

Regards Judith

Comments: Hello folks,

Not many entries these days I see !.

Hope u got the answer to the trivia question regarding Sterling.

Its been quite a winter and even in Cornwall the snow finally caught up with folks down here. The winter of 1962 ( I believe )..yes that bad one for those that remember, was the only time I built a snowman..it was white for 2 weeks and the snowman lasted 2 weeks after that. So might be a long dry summer this year with these strange weather patterns.

Heres some more trivia : What was the name of the garage at Westham in 1955..and what brand of petrol did it sell ?.

Have fun !.

Peter.

Comments: Hi folks,

I've noticed that the PrimeLocation website is advertising the flats at Timberlaine Road for sale and describing Pevensey Bay as part of a district of Eastbourne. Is Pevensey Bay no longer under East Sussex C.C, can any one comment.
As a matter of interest, these flats sold for between £4000 and £5000 leasehold when they were built in the 1960's...at the time, Pound Sterling was backed somewhat by adequate gold supplies in the UK Treasury. Since the US dollar is heading back to a quasi-Gold-Standard, guaranteed, here is some trivia for you folks out there : Will Sterling follow the Dollar into the abyss resulting in another Sterling crisis and also need to have ample gold backing....have fun with the question as many will remember the crisis after crisis back in the 1960's and 1970's.

All the best,

Peter.
