Comments: Another season is fininshed before it even started it seems! The playoffs started with the G-Men vs Tony's Trams. The G-Men almost pulled off the biggest 4th quarter come back in league playoff history. After Darren Costello scored with under 10 minutes left to put the Trams up by 18 it should have been it. However, after 3 successive 2 and outs by the Trams and 14 points by the G-Men the last drive had meaning. The G-Men started this drive from their 40 with 1 minute left and no time outs. After their second completion brought them to the Trams 20, time unfortunately (this depends on your perspective) ran out. Honorable mention to Geoff Mather (the Giant QB) who always remanined confident (and so did his teamates). Final score 33-29 Trams. The Giants lost with class and dignity and this cannot be said about Sunday's losers in the final.

Sunday's final pitted an undermanned and underdog Tony's Trams (without Tony) vs the undefeated Clowns. It was no contest from the onset with The Clowns taking a 1st half lead of 40-0. Rick Nincheri was just about perfect and so were his receivers. The final score was 46-14. The story of the game was the Trams placing all the blame for their misery upon the refs and not themselves. As the great Larry Robinson stated when he was with the Kings: "This team doesn't know how to win because they don't know how to lose." I cannot recall a team being so disrespectful in a playoff game. Please see below for summaries of both games.

Dave Mallais (12)
