Comments I'm a descendant of Reuben Leisure, b.1815 & died in Ohio Co.KY. John Beall's dau Elizabeth did not marry Reuben. I think his mother was the Martha Beall who married Henry Leasure in Frederick Co. Reuben said he was an orphan so I think that Martha must have died before her father - therefore not mentioned in the will. I don't know. Reuben married an Elizabeth Beall in 1937 who was born in 1915 also. John Beall's Elizabeth would have been way too old. Martha & Henry md in April 1815 in Frederick Co. Reuben born 1815 and married Elizabeth Beall 1837 in Montgomery Co. (name was Elizabeth Bee on license), but everyone in Ohio Co. KY knew it was "Bell". It's in the Frederick co. marriage records as Elizabeth Bee. I'd love to know the parents of Reuben's wife Elizabeth. Reuben named children Horace and Mary Ann and Allpheas which I believe to be Beall-like names. Other Bealls in Ohio County very early were named David and Eli. Happy to share what I have. Thank you for your web page.

Many veterans encountered problems when trying to prove that their difficult-to-diagnose or undiagnosed illnesses were connected to military service. This affected these veterans’ access to disability compensation.

In response, VA asked Congress for the authority to provide compensation benefits to veterans who are chronically disabled by undiagnosed illnesses.

Comments I am a descendant of John Lewis, born 1713 and came to the Shenandoah Valley in the 1730's. I understand that you discovered the name of John's father which you say is Johnathan. What evidence do you have in regard to this. Johnathan was born in Maryland around 1680 and John was born in Wales. How could this be? Did Johnathan go back to Wales? I am very interested in establishing a connection for John back in Wales.
