I love TV. It is such a great escape. I am also an artist, and I find I have to limit the amount of TV I watch because I know if I turn it on it will hypnotize me and I won't get anything done. I do find, however, its a useful tool when I need rest, and need to shut down. As an artist you know what it can be like when the creative juices get flowing. It's an adrenaline rush, a hyper focus, a draining of creative energy that must be replenished. TV does that for me. It is very visual, so it seems to pump up my deflated visual balloon. So to speak. It is also a total rest from creativity. Sometimes I need that. I need to be grounded, brought back to earth, and reality. So, I try to think of the TV as a tool to be used in the right way and sparingly. Also, I would like to say that your wonderful drawings are a gift to other people, and we appreciate your creativity, and the energy and time it takes. Thank you...em
