Comments: I was deeply touched by your little angel. I feel I had a baby Melanie Gayle with trisome 18 born in 1973. At that time there was not a name for it only a chromosome abnormality. Yesterday was the 34 anniversary of my baby's death. I was researching trisomy 18 trying to learn what chromosome abnormality my baby had and I found she had all the characteristics of trisomy 18. She lived 3 months and 3 weeks with most of her little life spent in the hospital. I always called her my little angel too. Truly these babies are little angels. I have 3 other children that are perfect and all 6 of my grandchildren are perfect.

I've just read your baby Erin's Story -what a precious little angel.
I too lost my beautiful baby Sophie to t18, in August 2004, I like you was lucky to have the gift of time with my baby girl. Sophie lived for three months, and I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I dearly hope that our babies Erin and Sophie have found one another and that they know just how much they are loved and missed every day.
