Here's a true story while in my fathers brown 73 Torino - bless his departed good natured soul. While nearing a toll stop to pay our way through we had just stopped behind another vehicle waiting for our turn to pay at the toll booth and out of the blue I happen to mention out loud in the car something like, "How long has it been since you had an accident" - its the only one I ever remember having with that car, or any other for that matter. But seconds after saying that, BANG, the person behind us struck the back of our car just like that. Nothing major but what a weird time for it to happen, honest now ! Thanks for all the great memories dad, love ya, you did good by me, I hope I'm at least half the dad you successfully became.
