Comments: Superb site, superb band. I met them once prior to a gig in Derby. Really nice bunch of people, and SO talented!

Peter's bass playing - superlative. Martin's drumming - the best I've ever seen.
Vincent's guitar - sublime.
Stephen's musicianship - astonishing.
The band - stunning!

I've been trying to find out what the guys are doing these days and if they are well and happy. I certainly hope so. Does anyone know? I'd love to hear from any/all of them.

PS - I think I'm the second 'Clarets' fan on this message board!

Comments: Re- mastered re-releases? Wow. I have early pressings on Dawn Records and now what a treat. I'd love to buy them all from the band!

I've had the experience in my life that Fruupp is the one band I've ever heard that everybody whom I have shared it with have told me they like it. I mean everybody.

I LOVE this!

Comments: I loved this band in the 70's . I got future legends in 1978 as a present from me ma, I played it til I scratched it out of existence. Never thought I'd hear any of the music again but caught some stuff on youtube and logged in here. Its great to hear that sweet sound again.

Comments: Mr. Vincent Lyons, I know you love Fruupp, but it is stretching it a bit to say Vincent McCuster is better than Steve Hackett of Genesis and Robert Fripp of King Crimson. I'm assuming you meant Robert in your comments referring to ELP (which did not have a guitarist per se, unless you count the limited playing Greg Lake, but primarily he stuck to bass guitar of course).

I think Vincent of Fruupp comes very close though, and he many times IS the wonderful sound of Fruupp.

My next contention is the oft heard comment that with Modern Masquerades "the magic was gone". Honestly, they were getting better all the time, and MM is a very fine album!!

Too bad disco and punk had to kill off the progressive music bands. They only ones that survived were those progressive bands that went to the POP music format. A shame.

Also, it is interesting to note an LP version of Prince of Heaven's Eyes just went for over $113 in eBay.

If there are lost masters of the 5th album and a live performace, the market is out there, release them please.....
