Joe is a great musician and a really nice guy. I also think he's a much underated song writer just listen to numb, better than anything the likes of Bon Jovi have ever done. but surely Joe can play some better venues in the U.K. in North Wales he's playing Caernarfon and Abergele. both in the middle of nowhere and hard to get to (all but impossible to get to if you rely on public transport like me) surely Llandudno or Rhyl would be better, both bigger more accesable towns. why has Joe never (to my knowlege at least) played Liverpool it's an amazing city for music, and there's dozens of venues here I think would be great for Joe. It would be amazing to see him at the cavern.
anyway keep up the good work Joe
cheers
Dave

Caught a couple of Joe's shows when he was in the UK this Feb,(2004) the 1st one being in Nottingham and the later at Sheffield. I had seen him playing an accoustic set on a previous visit to Sheffield and albeit I enjoyed it, I cannot say with any degree of honesty that I could rave about it. However the shows I saw with Stone Caravan really kicked ass big style. What a fabulous evening Joe and co provided. Haven't had such a good feeling about a band since I fell in love with the Boss and the E Street crew's sound. For me, it really was that good. To give my opinion some degree of true perspective I am a 48 year old veteran of live music and I can say with in all honesty that I've seen all those who carry a name of significance. I trully consider that Joe is up there with the big boys of live music.
I would like to know the history of the band members and I'd appreciate any information that can be supplied. Looking forward to his return to the UK with huge anticipation. Keeping it real!

Nice page dude! I just got back from a weekend trip to London where I saw Johnny & the Jukes and of course MR. JOE D'URSO!! Great show. Pity Joe didn't play longer but he had to make room for the Jukes who had to keep to a time limit so that the G-A-Y Disco could boogie away! It was nice meeting Joe, a Jersey guy, way over here. He's a helluva musician and a great guy!!
