Having a good memory is often a good thing, but it can be painful as well. I never forget important dates, times, or numbers (I am a math teacher), and I ALWAYS remember the date of Dale's birthday & passing. This year, December 22 also adds a new meaning...for today is my son's one year birthday (born 12/22/07 at 7:32 PM). The entire time while I was telling my son Happy Birthday this morning and picking him up out of his crib - I was thinking about Dale. As I opened this site page and seen his high school senior picture, it brought back so many other memories that we shared. I also read some of the other messages other people had left. It also brought to my attention how today is also Dale's SECOND BIRTHDAY...for on this day eleven years ago, he became "a new being!" I know my brother is enjoying himself, and I just want you to know Roger & Sandy that your son will forever live - in heaven & in our hearts/minds until our time comes to go experience our second birthday as well. God Bless you this Christmas and know that even though miles may separate us, you will always be a part of my family... I love you, Ronnie, Emily, & Stephen

Comments: This is truely a lovely dedication to Dale. I have known him since the 1st grade. He was always the sweetest person to have known. You could really tell Dale anything it didn't matter if it was something stupid or what he would always listen and try and help you with your problems.
