I stumbled upon this site when I was showing my wife my high school year book, saw a picture of Ronny on the same page as mine and decided to Google his name. I am very saddened to hear he passed away. We were best of friends along with Billy Page and Ricky Riece for about a 6 or 7 of our formadable years. Ricky moved to Brooklyn and Billy, Ron , and myself ventured out of our Section 3 crowd and joined a rowdier section 5 gang. At this time there must have been close to a dozen of us that got together to play ball, play cards, discover girls, music.There were also drugs and that hit our community very hard. We drifted apart during our high school years when we got our own cars and a whole new world opened to us. I must say that I did not forsee a stable family man image whenever I thought of Ronny, and the fact that it seems that it was brought out of him, a great deal of credit must belong to you. You seem to have a lovely family, great memories and whole new life ahead of you. I just wanted sign your book and tell you I knew Ron when and always knew he had it in him to have a great heart and am happy to hear he was able to share it with someone like you.
