Annie Donnellys' father was called Pat "the prince" Mc Henry(ballypatrick, carey) and her mother was also from Carey and named Margaret Mc Lean. Im very keen to find out more about the Mc Leans, the Mc Henrys and the Donnellys. Some Donnellys emigrated to Chicago and i think some may have been known as the black Donnellys, the Mc Leans and Mc Henrys some of them went to New Zealand and Philadelphia. Pat mc Henrys mother is either a Mc Donnell or Mc Caughan? Rose ?? married a Daniel Mc Lean and i think some of their childrens names would have been Hector, Sean,Annie and Margaret (all from Carey) Pat "the prince"owned a butcher shop in Ann street ballycastle, his brothers and sisters i think were called Archie, Annie, Dan, Brigid and Kate Mc Henry I hope this isnt too confusing! please email me if anybody has any information, many thanks cathy

Have found out much more info on The Traynor family and indeed the infamous McDade's of Carnsampson. Intrigued to find that previous to Carnsampson they were at Cloughcorr. Still trying to find out what happened to my Gt Aunt Sarah Jane (Jeannie) Traynor that had a relationship with Your Man McSheffrey as she seems to have been elusive!??. Now found out that Willie Trainor died in Canada, Nr to Tornto in 1932. Hoping to get home Sept/October. GW Sean T
