Comments: Your wrk here is outstanding it was a pleasure and apriviledge to read , the research and dedication that went into this was remarkable and fitting to be mentioned up there with the late cahal dallet " ballycastle historian " , i am an avid reader of my local histoy and especially on sorley boy and i think ive learned more in half an hr than i did in five years elsewhere , I woud just like to say thank you and keep up the good work they coud do with somebudy like yourself down in the ballycastle museum , where the only artifact on sorley boy is a painting of his funeral procession, again thank you

Comments: i would be grateful if anybody would be able to help me with my family tree,
my mum was Anne Clark(nee Donnelly) her mother was annie Donnelly(nee mc Henry, ballypatrick, carey)her husband was Hugh Donnelly(Armoy). Annie Donnellys' father was called Pat "the prince" Mc Henry(ballypatrick, carey) and her mother was also from Carey and named Margaret Mc Lean.
Im very keen to find out more about the Mc Leans, the Mc Henrys and the Donnellys.
Some Donnellys emigrated to Chicago and i think some may have been known as the black Donnellys, the Mc Leans and Mc Henrys some of them went to New Zealand and Philadelphia.
Pat mc Henrys mother is either a Mc Donnell or Mc Caughan?
Rose ?? married a Daniel Mc Lean and i think some of their childrens names would have been Hector, Sean,Annie and Margaret (all from Carey)
Pat "the prince"owned a butcher shop in Ann street ballycastle, his brothers and sisters i think were called Archie, Annie, Dan, Brigid and Kate Mc Henry
