Comments: I have a fixed Basenji, which I inherited because the former owners(actually servants) were not able to obey his every desire. He is everything you allude to in all your dogs and even though I am in my 70's, he and I do rather well. He is on a chain because he has bitten through leather and nylon leashes and run off to chase bears, squirrels, and once for wild turkeys(he got beat that timeby two toms). He is not only a sight hound, he has excellent hearing and he scents to see who has come out to visit. His courage is wellknown to all the owners of rotweilers, pitbulls,boxers, shepherds, and any big dog. He plays rough and has a hard time not knocking over little dogs. No animosity from him, even when you take his food. If I get a chance to visit, I will try to stop and visit, but my driving doesn't go too well at this time. I have enjoyed your pictures and comments and thank you for sharing them with the rest of us.
