He moved from Berkeley County VA/WV to Licking County, Ohio, sometime between 1814 and 1826 when in Licking County he married Mahala Green. Bazil's parents are unknown. Mahala was the oldest of 17 children born to George Green and Diadema Willison. This George Green was a son of Rignal Green and Sarah Duncan. As you know, Peter Williamson Sr. married Rebecca Green. She was a sister to the George Green just mentioned. I've been trying to identify the father (or better yet the parents) of my gr gr grandfather Bazil Butt. I know he hung around with the Bakers, Williamson, and others. I was glad to run on to your site. While I've not found anything about any of the Butt people, I did find lots of valuable information to add to my .pdf file. I recently had my DNA tested by FamilyTreeDNA in Houston. They have a site where I have a GEDCOM file posted. I would be happy to hear from you. Regards, Dennis W. Butt
