Comments: Last fall, I attended the meeting held by the Trappers Association in Volga, SD and had a good time despite the tenuous situation with the weather!

I am writing to see if any members of the association might be interested in a litter of Treeing Feist puppies that we currently have available. They are small game dogs used primarily to hunt squirrels but we use them successfully on coon, rabbit and game birds as well. The breed is versatile and willing to please. A feist pup should even work out well as a companion along a trapline. We have two females and one male still available.

If anyone is interested, we are located in Brookings and my research project is located between Pierre and Murdo so it would not be hard to get pups around the state. There is more information on our website:

PS - Where and when is the meeting this year? I thought I saw it was in Oacoma?
