Do you have any information about this relative, as I think I might be a descendant of that brother? My greatgreatgrandfather was Kieran Egan who lived in Brooklyn most of his life. He died in 1895. He had many relatives in Waterbury, CT. I had heard that Kieran had a brother who went west--perhaps out for a gold rush.
