I never signed the guestbook even though I have been Slim's webmaster since DAY 1. Slim, I miss you buddy and I wish we would have stayed in touch the last 2 years. As for the website - I fixed all the dead links and in keeping with the look of the website, I made the dead links go to the archive of what the link was when it was first created. I added 2 videos, more links and pictures. I'll add another video soon! I put up Slim's songs that were not available anywhere else. I would have put up more songs, but I used up the entire 20MB that is given by Tripod.

Tuesday 06/26/2007 11:52:53pm Name: Jeremy Mahurin E-Mail: verittt2004@yahoo.com Homepage Title: Homepage URL: Referred By: Friend Location: Bakersfield Comments: I just heard the news today about Slim I'm really saddened by his passing :( He didn't know me as well as alot of people, but when I met him, he gave me alot of life advice, & I said "thx slim", he said "aaw don't be so formal, you can call me uncle slim" as he smiled :) The things he told me kept me from going down the wrong path of drugs, alcohol, & trouble with the law. Until I met him I was breaking cerfew, just minor stuff, but he saved me from doing worse later in life. :) I wrote some lyrics down & he said he would take a look at them, but never got the chance, that was years ago when he was in shafter CA. I've always refered to him as uncle Slim though, & when the ballet of kirt & courtney came out, he brought me a copy on a plain white backing disc. I listen to & enjoy it alot. I only regret not getting to know him more than I did. :( I will miss him very much, I hope his family will have the knowledge that he is in heaven playing for god :) & take comfort in that.
