Super site, having served on Cent's, in The Queen's Own Hussars, in all four posts, I was taken back to the days of dusty butties and gritty tea... wonderful! Not wishing to be picky but hoping to be helpful, in the 10 set of photo's the sight shown in the commander's cupola is actaully the RCP sight ( Reflector cum Periscope ) which allowed the commander to lay the gunner accurately on the target. As you are no doubt aware there are very few Centurians in private hands in the UK but no shortage of it's replacement the Chieftain, not thought of with the same nostalgia though a fearsome beast in it's time.
Kind regards, Dick. Thanks mate, I have in all ten sites now Can you give me the site name and page and I will correct it Regards Col |
