And last evening while watching "Make me a Perfect Murder," I think I may have spotted a goof that is not found on your site yet. The scene is where Columbo meets Kay Freestone for the first time after her boss is murdered. Columbo's reflexes aren't very good due to the neck brace he's wearing and he begins to clumsily look for "that piece of paper" in one of his pockets. He pulls out everything he can find stuffed in his raincoat pockets and lays it all on a counter in the foreground. Then, he picks up all the scaps and begins to thumb through the mess of notes while moving away from the counter mumbling something like "I wish I could find that paper." Next shot, the papers all miraculously find themselves out of Columbo's hands and back on top of the counter where they started. I thought I was seeing things or missed something and I don't have the episode on tape to replay it to make sure of this flub. Did I really catch one? Ha!

If you like to read, try the Columbo book series by William Harrington, he has the personality down to a T. Dog is even in it. If you like Peter Falk in "Murder by Death"(a fave of mine) see him in "The Cheap Detective" hilarious. Also, in "Murder by the Book" watch the champagne toast between Ken Franklin and James Ferris. The champagne bottle and glass in Jcak Cassidy's hand change palce with each camera shot. Long live Peter Falk and Cloumbo!!
