My Family came from Apeldoorn Gelderland, but before that, came from the southwest of Nederland. My late father, Ben van de Weerd, was the directeur of the "Van Reekum Gallerij" in Apeldoorn...which has now closed. My father was an ardent amatuer artist, lino cuts, woodcuts and pencil sketches.
