I know my father who is John Roger Engen. Who's Father was (to the best of my knowledge) Irvin Roger Engen who went by Roger Engen. Why I dont know. This family came from the Glenville area south of Albert Lea which is where I am from. He married my grandmother who is Francise Marsha Renchin from Hayfeild Mn. Her parents Joseph and Dora Renchin.( my great grandparents who I did know). My Grandfather died in a plane crash by Hayfeild Mn. back in the early 50's. Im not real sure back farther than that and I'm curious to know who I am. I believe his father also died flying a bi-plane just the same as his son when my grand father was 12 yrs old. His mother Lil Lau who marrierd my great grandfather who then died in the plane crash. She then married Ole Rassmuson. I also knew them and they lived in Glenville. I also believe that Joann (Engen) Williamson was his sister. And also there is a Selma Engen in there somewhere. I'm trying to remember all of this as it was told to me thruout the years. If any body has any corrections or additions to this it would be greatly appreciated. Due to the plane crashes I wasnt able to know alot of these people and I am curiouse about the Engen Family Crest and ancestry from back in Norway. And also where the name came from. Also in addition I have a son who is Stephan Lucas Engen. His mother is Danha Jean Lucas also from Albert Lea. To the best of my knowledge he is the only one left to carry on the Engen Legacy. sincerely gratefull, Jason Roger Engen
