Comments: My husband was misdiagnosed for years with Chronic Fatigue syndrome and it turned out he actually had a condition called haemochromatosis or hemochromatosis. His body was storing too much iron and could have killed him! About One in every 200 people has this disease and everyone who has been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome should have this excluded first! I put the link in above from a site I found which has some good information on it. Never take iron tablets until you know your iron levels and if you do take iron tablets, make sure you get your blood tested regularly because you can acquire haemochromatosis from taking too many iron pills.

Comments: Oh my gosh! Here it is 2007, and I come upon this website, 7 years post most recent entry! I was diagnosed with FMS in 2004. Turned down 2x by SSA; gave up. Often feel very confused by what the Lord is saying to me. Am able to work, if work is not too stressful, and I am not in a "Season of Flair" (per my doctor). Thank you for this website. It is so wonderful to hear testimony from someone who has been there - further affirmation that I am not crazy! The Lord is SO GOOD!
