News/Comments/Stories: I have owned a 19 since I was 14 years old. I am now 70. I purchased it surplus brand new in a box for $40.00. I used it as a receiver and a HeathKit rock bound transmitter when I was a novice. It still works. I have replaced the caps in the dynamotor though.

News/Comments/Stories: In the late 1950's as a Radar and Coms. trainee/apprentice with UK MoS rebuilt No19 sets that had Russian labels, including removal of the VHF "B" sets (6J6 comes to mind) and Canadian no 52 sets. Also used for a link from Salbury to pompy (Portsmouth) in England. K
