Comments: i took my basic at ft. wood beginning about the last of november '65. i remember how the D.I.'s kept referring to us as "bullit-stoppers" because most of us were going to Vietnam right after trainning. It took me until March of '68 to get to 'Nam having been in Germany for around two years with the 2nd Armored Cav. Rgt.

Comments: Went to basic trianing at Fort Leonard Wood in Feb of 1977. I was in B Co 5th bn 3rd bct. In 1979 went back there to go to 12B school as a Cpl.

Comments: Was at FLW 1n 1969 for both basic and AIT. I still remember the post cabs we used to take to the theaters..talk about being jamed in!!! It was all truly a lifetime ago but I would love to see some of the guys I remember. Frank Spann are you out there somewhere?
