Comments: Lovell Mickles, 1SG Co K, 122nd INF was my GREAT GREAT grandfather. I know he survived the war and married in New Orleans in 1866 where my GREAT grandfather was born in 1871. I seen to have lost track of him since then. Any information on him would be outstanding.

Comments: Captain Davis Cossitt is my 3rd cousin 4X removed. He was at Culp's Hill, and was wounded at Fort Stevens. He also delivered an address at the dedication of the 122nd New York monument at Gettysburg in 1888.

Comments: I am a descendant of a Zebulon Smith. From all of my research he is the one that was in the 122nd N.Y. Inf. Are there any sources, or records that can be searched regarding N.Y. deserters? Thank You, Bob Taylor...g.g.grandson.
