Hello,
Came across your web site. Didn't know if your organization is still active. I have 2 relatives in Company B in the 85th: James Brogan and Francis Francisco. Brogan is buried at Andersonville, and Francisco is buried in a mass grave in Florence, S.C. I have letters from Francisco, and a picture of one of them. Let me know if you are still active. Thanks!

To whom it may concern,
I have recently received a January 1, 1864 muster roster for 20 or so soldiers from the 85th New York Veteran Volunteers A. Co. that originally enlisted in 1861. All of the following soldiers were re-enlisting for 74 dollars. I have the pay roster as well. All of the soldiers were re-enlisting in Roanoke, NC. From there they went to fight in Plymouth.
If anyone is interested in the names from the roster, please feel free to contact me.
As for information I am trying to receive, does anyone have a roster I can reference to for prisoners or kia's from the following company during the battle of Plymouth?

The suggested lookup website is no longer active by the Macon County Chamber of Commerce. My name is Kevin Frye and I am a part time historian at Andersonville and I have the Historic Sites database at my fingertips. Please email for any information or lookups on the 85th or any other prisoners at Andersonville. This offer is FREE and at NO charge.

My great- great grandfather and his brother were "Plymouth Pilgrims", part of the 85th NY Vol. Infantry captured and sent to Andersonville. Both survived, although I have trouble tracking them through any system. Nice site you have.
