I have moved from 700 feet above sea level to just 33Ft ASL. As you can imagine Take off and reception are much different - infact NIL ! I have thru the years accumulated a number of radios, amongst them a 706, your favourite it seems...I like it too and use it in my car as I travel a lot. At my QTH I just cannot communicate but found that there is a node somewhere and I manage to listen in. Have used it twice BUT cannot seem to link onto it - I was hopeful !! (eLink) I am nearly 80 now, bad eyesight for close-up work but will try and make your node to see if I can link up. Would the Tigertronic module be of help? Your advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks Louis
