Just love this film. I read somewhere that the actress who plays the small part of Mariah Lucas (Lucy Davis?) almost got the part of Elizabeth. Apparently quite an accomplished young actress, but you wouldn't know it from her wide-eyed portrayal. Must have killed her to miss getting the starring role. But I love Jennifer Ehle. Would not have been the movie it is without her.
