Shera was a Raven in Laos. He hasn't talked about his time there alot so I thought I would see if anyone that knew Uncle Tom would be kind enough to email me with ANY information that you may have about him and his time while in Laos or Vietnam. The family is extremely proud of Tom and all that he did in the 5 years he spent in SEA and I would just like to know more about his time there! Uncle Tom flew O-1's as well as AC-47's during his tours. I'm part of an organization Indiana Air Search And Rescue (IASAR)that restores military aircraft and we are in the beginning stages of restoring a C-47 to honor his time in country! We have also just finished a 5 year restoration of a 1968 Huey back to flight status that flew 2 tours in 70 and 71 in Vietnam.
