Comments: Just passing through. I'm a John Battle descendant(Mathew's brother). My 2nd great grandfather, John William Battle(b1792-d1865) lived near Montgomery,ALA. Found his land deed. Can't find anything else on him. Can you help? I'd like to find his grave. Pretty sure I found his farm in Pike County. Haven't been to it yet.
