I remember when her death was on the news almost 9 years ago as if it happened just yesterday. Just like my reaction 9 years ago, I still can't get to imagine that she is gone. What a horrific thing to happen to one of Lebanon's beauties and youths! A girl that, I am sure, was not just going to evolve into a beauty icon but also into an intelligent and well-positioned lady. I am a total stranger and it is already hard for me to fathom such a loss... I wonder how families and friends deal with the loss of a loved, especially in this case, the gorgeous Cathalina. I have no doubt whatsoever that had she lived on, she would have been crowned Miss Lebanon and represented Lebanon pretty well internationally. But even more, I have no doubt that she would have been immensely loved by the Lebanese public (and the world) for her liveliness, modesty, and intelligence. Cathalina, I have always known you from behind the screen... Eversince your death, you have been right there in the back of my head.
