I was adopted and did not see my mother until I was 18. There was total rejection by my mother and other circumstances that basically ruined my life. I would in NO WAY ever encourage an adopted child to seek out his birth mother. You may have a wonderful reunion or it may, as it has me, create a depression you won't recover from due to more rejection.....Just my two cents.
