Comments: I was with USN MCB#3 1962-1963 Nakhon Phanom Thailand We had 35A D8 Caterpillars and several much older 2U D8 Bulldozers. We did not have ropes cabs unfortunately. As we were bulldozing jungle I shared my operator platform regularly with several kinds of poisonous snakes, Tree limbs and Ants. Spent 4 1/2 years as and Equipment Operator 3rd Class operating Caterpillar, Allis Chalmers, IHC Bulldozers as well as other equipment in several foreign countries.
