Comments: I ran across your site while searching for nibs. I first happened upon your inventory list, then later found this site. I am new to calligraphy, having just completed an introductory copperplate class two weeks ago. I have collected a few inkwells, nibs/pens and nib/pen holders already. My copperplate teacher gave each student 3 antique nibs in class. Nothing compares! I am hooked forever. I practice at least an hour a day, most days more or twice a day. I may never get good, having started late in life learning this craft, but I will surely have fun trying. The history is so fascinating.
Thank you for providing this site.

Comments: Hi John,

Recently got a call from someone researching thier family geneology that refrenced your List of names from Anna Gayle Fry's Book. Great job on the refrence materials. I'm working on abstracting our files for an alphabetical list of all of our families from the 1820,s. Will keep you posted.

Comments: Great site. All your Gwins caught my attention. My Gwynns/Gwins wound up in Key West, FL in 1850 by way of the Bahamas. Before that, who Knows? Generations of them have been in the cigar and tobacco business. Any of this familiar? regards, Bob george
