Comments: I'm working on a series of paintings I call "The Allegory of the Cave" based on projections (or shadows) from 6-D space. They resemble quasiicrystal electron photographs. As an artist I've been working with the fat and skinny rhombi (known as "Penrose tiles") since 1970 - 3 years before their discovery by Penrose.
