Earliest is Joseph LANE 1804 (Wellington SOM)married Susan NEWTON in 1833 in Huntspill SOM they had 5 children one of which was George LANE who married Hannah ANDREWS 1858. They had 7 children one of whom was Joseph and he married Mary LANE from Lydlinch Dorset because the family moved to Dorset following the Railway line as the Father was a Rail Worker. They had 9 Children one who's name was Reginald Sydney LANE and he married Victoria DRAKE and lived in Poole Dorset, they had 4 boys one called Donald who is my father. Richard LANE 1848 was Georges youngest brother and he married Mary CROCKER They had 7 children one of whom was Arther Oliver LANE he moved to Toronto Canada and married Emily BURLAND and had 4 children.
