Two years in the making, this documentary reveals the story of transformation of a couple of struggling, conventional-business entrepreneurs into wholly unconventional entertainers now responsible for dealing out "Insanity At Its Finest" for thousands of travelers coming to Erick, Oklahoma from around the world specifically to see Harley & Annabelle, "The Mediocre Music Makers" and their "Sandhills Curiosity Shop".

Comments: Do you know that your Beckham County representative has slandered Harley and Annabelle Russell - also known as The Mediocre Music Makers at the Sandhills Curiosity Shop in Erick, Oklahoma? She has been spreading the word that Harley and Annabelle shop lifted in her antique shop in Erick. Yet she has never filed charges and has provided not one shred of evidence that the crime was ever committed. I also have heard that she advised a visitor to her antique shop who asked about other antique shops in Erick to stay away from The Sandhills Curiosity Shop because Harley and Annabelle are "a couple of dope heads".

Is this really the kind of person you want representing your association? Harley and Annabelle pull in more tourists to Erick each season than anything else in town. They have been sought out by Disney and Pixar for inspiration for the movie Cars and for the Cars Land theme park addition.

How sordid it makes the Oklahome Route 66 Association look to have someone like Doris Ray slandering the Russells.
