Comments: Sarah,
You're page is beautiful. I am an adult adoptee. I also was a special child who was picked out by my parents. they said they chose me because they loved me so much. I wish you all the beautiful things in life you ever wish for!

Comments: Adorable! And it's easy to see she's adored as well. When little adoptees grow up to be adult adoptees, the
fortunate ones are those who have openness of an ongoing extended family relationship. In closed asoptions,
the "chosen child" story has a Catch-22 of "Why didn't my birthparents 'choose' to keep me?" and in open
adoptions the "choice" of maintaining the relationships rests solely on the integrity of the parties since
open adoptions are not legally enforceable, even in states that permit them. Best wishes for an ongoing
extended family relationship "in the best interests of Sarah."
