Larry Comments: Hi Lew; As I'm sure you know, the National Ballet Orchestra just barely avoided going on strike earlier this year over the very contencious issue of the National Ballet wanting to use tape for some of their performances at The Hummingbird Centre in Toronto, rather than using our 55 member ballet orchestra. I am happy to tell you that the dispute was resolved in our favour, and tape will not be used to replace us. We had wonderful support from our community, who were very much behind the orchestra, and our demands to preserve the integrity of the great art form of ballet, and live music.I wish you well with all your endeavours.
