Comments: Dear Sirs, Each year I spend one week turkey hunting on the Blue Ridge WMA. Last week while hunting I stumbled upon an old family cemetery on a mountain top that has one Confederate Soldier buried there.
From my memory, the headstone reads: Henry Freeland Co. D, 52nd GA Infantry
My SCV Camp is in the process of documenting the burial locations of all Confederate Soldiers in our county. I give you this information just in case your camp is doing the same. I do know the exact location of that cemetery but would not be able to give verbal or written directions. I would have to show you.
