She got the GS without thinking what it entails (my wife and I both would have tried talking her out of it, had we been consulted first). Anyway, the similarities between Bouviers and GSs is striking (given that ours is a "plush coat", even more so than normal). anyway, it's a wonderful article and the Bouviers look like great dogs. thanks for introducing me to the breed so cleverly. David
